Amidst the heated politics over the allegations of poisoning of Yamuna by the people of Haryana, BJP leaders on Tuesday took a sip of water from the river to expose the lies.
The Chief Minister’s former media advisor Rajiv Jain, while taking a sip of Yamuna water in Dahisra, the last village of Sonipat situated on the border, said that completely pure water enters Delhi from Haryana.
‘Lying is Kejriwal’s nature’
He said that the water of Yamuna in Haryana is completely suitable for bathing and drinking, but when Yamuna enters Faridabad again from Delhi, it is completely contaminated. BJP state president Pandit Mohan Lal Badauli said that lying has become Kejriwal’s nature.
He has proved to be the most corrupt Chief Minister in Indian history. At the same time, Aam Aadmi Party’s national spokesperson Anurag Dhanda alleged that the BJP government of Haryana is conspiring to obstruct Delhi’s water supply and influence the Delhi assembly elections.
Congress MLA Ashok Arora’s statement also came to the fore
Senior Congress leader and MLA Ashok Arora took a jibe at the entire controversy and said that BJP and AAP are playing a prank on this issue. Terming Kejriwal’s allegations as baseless and unfounded, he said that this creates fear among the people.
BJP and AAP leaders are misleading people by making statements on this issue. It is right for the BJP members of Haryana to protest against the Delhi government, but this protest should have been done in Delhi.
Political turmoil at peak over allegations of mixing ‘poison’ in water
Let us tell you that the political turmoil between the governments of Haryana and Delhi has reached its peak over the allegations of mixing ‘poison’ in the water of Yamuna. Former Chief Minister of Delhi and AAP convenor Arvind Kejriwal had accused Haryana of mixing poison in Yamuna. Angry BJP MLAs and ministers led by this burnt effigies of Kejriwal along with protests across the state on Tuesday.
While Haryana’s BJP MPs opened a front against Kejriwal by holding a joint press conference in Delhi, ministers and MLAs of the BJP government in Panchkula staged a sit-in protest and raised slogans against the Aam Aadmi Party. Chief Minister Naib Saini took charge in Delhi.
Naib Saini, along with Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman and Environment, Forest and Climate Change Minister Bhupendra Yadav, met Chief Election Commissioner Rajiv Kumar and termed the allegations baseless and put forth the reality with the report.
If you want to file a case, do it: Kejriwal
Naib Saini challenged Kejriwal to immediately apologize to the people of Haryana and Delhi for his statement, otherwise we will file a defamation case against him. Countering Saini’s statement, Kejriwal said, “Saini sahab, don’t do politics over water, it will be a sin. If you want to file a case, do it. Anyway, have you left any stone unturned? Will you hang me now?”
On the other hand, Delhi Chief Minister Atishi has written a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner demanding to stop the water coming from Haryana to Delhi. Alleged that the level of ammonia in the Yamuna water entering Delhi from Haryana is six times higher than normal. This level is very poisonous for the human body. In response, the Haryana government has submitted a report to the Chief Election Commissioner.
