It may take some time to appoint new district presidents of Haryana BJP. Earlier, the announcement of district presidents was expected by February 2, but due to the busyness of about two dozen BJP leaders of Haryana in the Delhi elections, there is a delay in releasing the list of names of these district presidents.
It is expected that the names of the BJP district presidents of Haryana will be announced after February 5. Congress can select the leader of the Congress Legislature Party after the results of the Delhi elections on February 8. Congress has not been able to select the leader of its party’s legislative party for about three and a quarter months.
The names of the district presidents have been discussed
The names of the new district presidents have been discussed between Haryana BJP in-charge Dr. Satish Punia, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini, Union Minister Manohar Lal and Organization Minister Phanindranath Sharma. Haryana BJP President Mohan Lal Badauli and Organization Minister Phanindranath Sharma have also discussed the names of the new district presidents with the national leadership.
Not 22, but 27 district presidents will be announced
Till now, 22 district presidents were formed by BJP, but organizationally BJP has created five new districts, due to which 27 district presidents will be announced this time. The newly formed districts by BJP include Hansi, Gohana, Dabwali, Gurugram Mahanagar and Ballabhgarh.
Voting in Delhi on 5 February
Voting will be held in Delhi on 5 February and the results will be declared on 8 February. All the major BJP leaders of Haryana are currently completely focused on the Delhi elections. BJP has entrusted the responsibility of coordinating the assembly seats to Cabinet Minister Krishna Kumar Bedi.
The Haryana leaders have the responsibility of making BJP win the three dozen seats in Delhi, their duty has been assigned keeping in mind the caste equations. This time, BJP is likely to remove 15 out of the 22 district presidents.
The reason for this is that many district presidents have become old and some district presidents have held this post twice and will now be included in the state committee.
