An Air India flight from Amritsar to Birmingham, England, experienced a technical malfunction. However, after the flight’s ram air turbine was activated, it made an emergency landing in Birmingham.
According to reports, on October 4, Air India flight AI 117 was traveling from Amritsar to Birmingham. After reaching Birmingham, its ram air turbine suddenly malfunctioned, forcing an emergency landing. However, the landing was safe, and all passengers on board are safe.
Air India further stated that the flight was scheduled to return from Birmingham to Delhi, but due to the malfunction, it was canceled and an investigation is underway. The company further stated that appropriate arrangements are being made for passengers and an investigation is underway to determine why the ram air turbine activated.
