According to the Jalandhar Bullion Association, the price of 24-carat gold today was recorded at ₹155,750, down from ₹157,500 on Thursday. Meanwhile, 22-carat gold also became cheaper, trading at ₹144,850 today, compared to ₹146,480 on Thursday. A decline was also observed in silver prices; the rate for silver today stood at ₹253,400, whereas it was ₹258,700 on Thursday.
Gold Prices on MCX
Meanwhile, on the MCX, gold prices are trading with a marginal uptick at ₹153,220 per 10 grams. Silver prices witnessed a surge of ₹1,737, reaching ₹250,365 per kilogram. In the international market, both gold and silver are trading with an upward trend.
