A sudden, massive fire broke out in the forested area adjacent to a park in the Gadaipur locality, quickly escalating into a raging inferno. Thick plumes of smoke became visible from a great distance, causing panic and chaos throughout the area.
Fire Brigade Vehicles Arrive at the Scene
Local residents immediately alerted the fire brigade; subsequently, teams from the fire department arrived at the site and launched an operation to extinguish the blaze. After a strenuous effort, the fire was brought under control. According to preliminary reports, the fire is suspected to have been caused by sparks emitted from high-voltage power lines or by a burning *bidi* or cigarette discarded by a passerby. Approximately one kanal of land—including several Eucalyptus trees—was reduced to ashes in the fire. Currently, there are no reports of any loss of life.
