To facilitate passengers and manage the extra rush, the Jammu Division of Northern Railway is operating Superfast Summer Special train number 04602 from Jammu Tawi to Mumbai Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT).
According to the details, the train will depart from Jammu Tawi at 00:30 hours on June 7, 2026, and arrive at Mumbai CSMT at 15:00 hours the following day. This is a reserved superfast special train comprising a total of 21 coaches. The composition includes 2 First AC composite coaches, 12 Third AC coaches, 1 Second AC coach, and general coaches (including 2 for differently-abled passengers).
For the convenience of passengers, the train will halt at Pathankot Junction, Jalandhar Cantt, Ludhiana Junction, Ambala Cantt, Delhi Safdarjung, Mathura Junction, Agra Cantt, Virangana Lakshmibai Jhansi Junction, Bina Junction, Bhopal Junction, Itarsi Junction, Bhusawal Junction, Manmad Junction, Nashik Road, Kalyan Junction, and Dadar. Arrangements for CTS (Coach Thet-cleaning Service) and watering have been made at Ludhiana, Ambala Cantt, Agra Cantt, Jhansi, Bhopal, Itarsi, and Bhusawal stations. Passengers are requested to verify the train schedule and reservation status before traveling. As this is a reserved special train, travel without a reserved ticket is not permitted.
Regarding the operation of this special train, Mr. Uchit Singhal, Senior Divisional Commercial Manager (Jammu), stated that the Jammu Division is running this special train in view of the summer passenger rush to ensure confirmed berths for travelers heading from Jammu & Kashmir to Maharashtra. Passenger safety and convenience remain our top priority. Information regarding this train is being widely publicized at all stations through notice boards, announcement systems, and media channels so that the maximum number of passengers can benefit from it. The Jammu Division will continue to operate special trains in the future based on passenger requirements. Extensive publicity is being carried out via notice boards, announcement systems, and electronic, print, and news media to ensure passengers are informed about this special train.
