Harkirat Kaur Badal, daughter of former Punjab Deputy CM and former Shiromani Akali Dal president Sukhbir Singh Badal, got married on Wednesday. She is married to businessman Tejbir Singh. A party was held in Delhi on Tuesday night, in which singer Mika Singh also performed.
Mika Singh said from the stage – ‘Congratulations to the Badal family on this happy occasion. Best wishes to the newlywed couple for a lifetime of happiness, love and togetherness.’
Sukhbir Badal was seen dancing with his son-in-law Tejbir Singh and daughter Harkirat Kaur on Mika Singh’s song Gabru. Union ministers along with Akali Dal leaders also attended the wedding.
Earlier, on January 14, singer Afsana Khan had come to the Roka party. Even then Sukhbir Singh Badal, Harsimrat Kaur Badal and Bikram Singh Majithia had performed Bhangra on her songs.
Tejbir’s family lives abroad
Sukhbir’s daughter Harkirat is married to international businessman Tejbir Singh. Tejbir Singh is originally from Doaba region. It has not been revealed yet which district his family belongs to. It has definitely come to light that his family is settled abroad. His business runs from abroad. He came to India in January for the wedding.

Sukhbir Badal was attacked on 4 December
Shri Akal Takht had given religious punishment to Sukhbir Badal for not taking action on sacrilege including forgiving Dera Sacha Sauda chief Ram Rahim. On 4 December, Sukhbir Badal was serving the punishment at the gate of the Golden Temple holding a spear in his hand. During this time, Narayan Singh Chaura, a resident of Dera Baba Nanak, fired at him. In which Sukhbir had a narrow escape. Narayan Singh Chaura is associated with the Khalistani terrorist organization Babbar Khalsa which has been banned by the Government of India.
