Former Assembly Speaker and Congress MLA Dr. Raghubir Kadian raised this issue. He also sought an answer from the government on the illegal mining going on in the state. Badoli, however, has got a clean chit from the court and the police.
The minister denied the allegations
Social Justice and Antyodaya Welfare Minister Krishna Kumar Bedi denied the allegations of Dr. Raghubir Kadian and said that the Congress leader’s nephew was also caught selling drugs in the MLA hostel.
Bedi said that Krishna Hooda is not in this world today, but the nephew of the Congress leader has been caught in the drugs case. On this, former CM Bhupendra Singh Hooda, who was present in the House, said that it is better not to discuss about those who are not present in the House. Speaker Harvinder Kalyan appreciated Hooda’s statement.
Kadian raised the issue of illegal mining
Dr. Raghubir Kadian raised the issue of illegal mining in various districts of the state and said that there has been a loss of revenue of 50 thousand crores. At one place, the mining mafia has eaten up a mountain of Rs 22 thousand crores.
Mining Minister Krishna Pawar said that there has been no revenue loss of 50 thousand crores. On this, Bhupendra Hooda, citing the CAG report, said that if the CAG report talks about a loss of five thousand crores in one year, then this amount has become 50 thousand crores in 10 years.
‘Gurugram has now become the capital of corruption’
Raghubir Kadian, referring to a statement by cabinet minister Rao Narbir, said in the assembly that even ministers have started believing that Gurugram has now become the capital of corruption. Earlier, Hooda said in the House that the budget will be presented on March 17 at 2 pm.
The next day, on March 18, the proceedings of the House will begin at 11 am. During this time, no MLA will get a chance to read the budget. A recess should be kept in the House on March 18 to read the budget. On this, Speaker Kalyan said that all the preparations have been done, so now some decision will be taken on this in the further proceedings.
