Zirakpur police has arrested a gangster after an encounter. The gangster has been identified as Lavish Grover. He has several cases registered against him like murder and attempt to murder.
This accused was roaming around in Zirakpur area in search of committing a big crime. Police had received information about this. When police reached his hideout, he opened fire on the police. He fired three shots at the police.
A bullet hit the leg of the miscreant in retaliatory firing
When police fired in retaliation, a bullet hit the leg of the miscreant. After this, he was injured. Police took him to the hospital in an injured state. Where his condition is said to be fine. The accused is currently admitted in the Civil Hospital of Derabassi.
Weapons recovered from the possession of the accused
Police have recovered three weapons from the possession of the accused. Some of these weapons are such that are banned in India. According to their information, police was after him for the last several days.
He was running his network in Zirakpur area for the last several days. The accused is said to be associated with Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Police will further inquire about him from the hospital.
Many cases already registered against the accused

Police of different police station areas have already registered 10 such cases against him. The accused is a resident of Ludhiana. He was living in a housing society here in Zirakpur.
SP Rural Manpreet Singh, who reached the spot, said that the police had received an information about him and he was going to carry out a major incident in Mohali. After this, the police team raided a flat on the third floor of that society. After knocking on the door, when he opened the door, he started firing at the police.
