After the cabinet meeting, the Chief Minister said that in view of the tense situation between India and Pakistan, the injured in war and terrorist incidents have also been included under the Farishte Yojana. Under this scheme, the Punjab government provides free treatment to the injured.
This scheme is already running
The Chief Minister said that this scheme was already running. Till now this scheme was for the injured on the road. Under which the person who took the injured to the hospital in a road accident was considered an angel. Under this, the angel was honored by giving two thousand rupees and a certificate.
Now its size has been increased. Now the injured in war and terrorist incidents have also been included in it. The Chief Minister said that this decision has been taken in view of the current situation. He also said that there is no shortage of diesel, petrol, LPG etc. in the state. Therefore, people should not pay attention to rumours.
Long queues are being seen at petrol pumps
Let us tell you that in view of the war situation, there were long queues at petrol pumps since morning. People were also insisting on getting gas cylinders filled.
At the same time, the Chief Minister said that he is in touch with the Deputy Commissioner of border areas. Tehsildars of border areas have also been posted. If the army makes any other demand, he is ready for it.
