Death was lost due to rock falling on the car
The lawyer of this case told that in 2019 some friends had gone to pay obeisance at Shri Hemkund Sahib. They had booked a tempo traveler. After stopping at Rishikesh for a day, they set out on the journey on 28 September 2019. It was raining heavily that day. The road was also very bad. He stopped 50 kilometers from Rishikesh to have tea.
There people stopped him and said that there is a danger of landslide. The passengers also stopped the driver from going further. But the driver argued that he knew these roads well and moved ahead. Meanwhile, a big rock fell on his car. Seven people including the driver died in the accident, while two survived. This case was filed in Chandigarh because the insurance company’s office was in Chandigarh.
