Journey Remains Peaceful
A batch of Sikh devotees, who had traveled to Pakistan for Vaisakhi and Khalsa Sajna Divas under the aegis of the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC), has returned to India via the Wagah-Attari border. This group, returning after paying obeisance at various Gurdwaras located in Pakistan, comprised a total of 2,238 devotees.
Sharing their experiences upon returning from Pakistan, the devotees stated that their journey was extremely pleasant and peaceful. They mentioned that they did not encounter any difficulties whatsoever; on the contrary, the Government and administration of Pakistan had made excellent arrangements for all essential amenities, including accommodation, security, and *Langar* (community meals).
The devotees further shared that they paid their respects at several holy sites, including Sri Nankana Sahib, Sri Panja Sahib, Sri Dera Sahib, and Sri Kartarpur Sahib. Expressing their gratitude to both the Indian and Pakistani governments, they appealed for the establishment of additional corridors and the enhancement of facilities for religious pilgrimages.
