Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National General Secretary and Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Chugh expressed satisfaction over the success of the digital training drive conducted under the ‘Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya Training Mega-Campaign,’ terming it a major achievement in the digital empowerment of booth-level workers. Chugh stated that, so far, 11,01,618 workers across the country have joined the app-based digital learning platform, which offers study material, videos, quizzes, and digital certificates in 12 languages. The training covered key organizational topics, including an introduction to the BJP, party history, the ‘Panch Nishtha’ (Five Commitments), the teachings of Dr. Syama Prasad Mukherjee and Pandit Deendayal Upadhyaya, Modi government schemes, the NaMo App, and ‘Mann Ki Baat’.
He noted that National President Nitin Navin, National General Secretary (Organization) B.L. Santhosh, and National Joint General Secretary (Organization) Shiv Prakash had launched the Digital Learning Platform (DLP) on April 6, 2026—the BJP’s foundation day. A training team constituted under the leadership of Shiv Prakash accelerated the initiative by coordinating with the Mandal and District-level structures. A target of 1 million (10 lakh) registrations was set for the period between June 23 (Dr. Mukherjee’s *Balidan Diwas* or Day of Sacrifice) and July 6 (his birth anniversary); the campaign surpassed this goal, reaching over 1.1 million (11 lakh) participants. It is now being expanded to the booth level. Chugh stated that the BJP launched this organizational digital training drive inspired by Prime Minister Modi’s ‘Digital India’ campaign, aiming to make it a medium for conveying the message of good governance to the last person in the queue. Attributing the success to the dedication of lakhs of workers, the leadership, and the training teams, he extended his congratulations to all involved.
In terms of state-wise performance, Madhya Pradesh led with the highest number of participants (1,83,113), while Tripura achieved an average of 20 workers per booth and an 85% completion rate. Arunachal Pradesh and Chandigarh saw participation of five or more individuals per booth, while Chhattisgarh (90%), Arunachal Pradesh (89%), Madhya Pradesh (87%), Tripura (85%), Himachal Pradesh (85%), Nagaland (83%), and Ladakh (83%) recorded a completion rate exceeding 80%. Chugh expressed confidence that, very soon, at least ten fully trained digital workers would be ready at every booth, becoming the organization’s greatest strength. The campaign is moving forward with the resolve that every worker be trained and every booth be digitally empowered.
